Carina Nebula, NGC 3372, sur-rounds several clusters of stars. Eta Carina & HD 93129A, two of the most massive & luminous stars in the Milky Way, are among them. At an est 6,500 10,000 ly away, it is one of the largest nebulae ever seen (larger & brighter than the Orion nebula) the top is a 3-ly-tall pillar of cool hydrogen being worn away by the radiation of nearby stars.
